PaddleHeads 2022 All-Star Outfielder Lamar Sparks Gets Called up and Makes Spring Training Debut with Milwaukee Brewers

Missoula, MT. 2022 Missoula PaddleHeads All-Star Outfielder, Lamar Sparks, officially made his Major League Baseball spring training debut with the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday afternoon entering the game in the top of the 6th inning. From Missoula to a Major League game in just under two months as the Brewers purchased his contract from the PaddleHeads in January!  Sparks started his outing playing left field prior to his first at-bat.

Sparks first at-bat came in the bottom of the 7th inning with two outs and bases loaded. He had a patient at-bat working the count to 3-2 before taking a ball outside, registering an RBI on a walk coming home. Sparks had a quiet outing on the defensive side with the Guardians unable to register any hits towards left field.

Sparks is one of the 13 Missoula PaddleHeads players signed by MLB clubs in the past two seasons. Sparks was a former 5th round draft pick by the Baltimore Orioles in 2017.
