
PaddleHeads Release 2025 Opening Day Roster
An Introduction To Your 2025 Missoula PaddleHeads
The 2025 season is ready to begin for your 2025 Missoula PaddleHeads as they embark on a 96 game regular season. The team has also released there 2025 Opening Day Roster as Missoula opens its season on the road on May 20 taking on the Billings Mustangs. Missoula begins the season with 12 position players on the roster and 15 pitchers. After playing in a 6-game series on the road in the Magic City, the PaddleHeads will return home to open their home schedule on Tuesday May 27 opposite the Glacier Range Riders. First pitch from Alligence Field at Ogren Park is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Tickets to Opening Day are still available. If you cannot make it to the ballpark follow all the action on ESPN Missoula 102.9 F.M. and Flo Sports.

#30 Miguel Alba
Height/Weight: 6'0/200
Birthdate: 8/25/1999
Hometown: Weston, FL
BIO: Alba looks to establish himself in professional baseball this season after spending a portion of last season in the Frontier League in his first appearance in pro ball. Alba would appear in 5 games a season ago with Trios-Riveras. In his collegiate career Alba would spend time at both Florida International, and Lee University. In the right-hander's final season in 2022 at Lee, Alba would strike out 81 batters in 76 ⅓ innings finishing with a 5-3 record and 4.46 ERA in 14 starts.

BIO: The southpaw will look to make an impact in professional baseball after concluding his collegiate career at Florida State University of 2024. Armstrong would spend most of his time with the Seminoles pitching in the bullpen appearing in 76 games (11 starts). Armstrong would finish with a 5.45 ERA in 117.1 ⅓ innings striking out 107 batters while walking 46. Armstrong would have his most effective season in 2023 finishing with a 4.18 ERA in 32 games out of the bullpen.
# 30 Brendan Beard

Hometown: New Waverly,TX
BIO: At Texas Lutheran University, Beard would enjoy a solid career filling rolls in the bullpen and starter from 2020-2024. After spending most of his career in the pen, Beard would shift into a starter role in his final season making 11 starts. The righty would finish with a 2.57 ERA in 81 innings to go along with a 7-1 mark. For his efforts, he was named as a 1st team All-Conference selection. Beard held an impressive 3.06 ERA in his career pitching at TLU in 62 career appearances.
#19 Christian Cuiffetelli

Birthdate: 12/27/1999
Hometown: Irvine, CA
BIO: Cuiffetelli returns to the PaddleHeads after spending a portion of last season with the club pitching in the bullpen. The University of Oregon product would pitch in 15 games striking out 21 while finishing with a 4.71 ERA. Prior to his time in Missoula, the Southern California native would spend 3 seasons in the Washington Nationals system after graduating from Oregon in 2022.
#15 Dawson Day

Birthdate: 10/12/1998
Hometown: Gresham, OR
BIO: The veteran southpaw is back for another season with the PaddleHeads after making 17 starts with the team over the course of the last 2 seasons. Day would enjoy his best season as a professional in 2024 finishing with a 5-1 mark with a 4.46 ERA in 8 starts. Day would be a strikeout machine finishing with 70 strikeouts in 40 ⅓ innings while walking only 12 batters. Day has a 9-3 record as a starter with the PaddleHeads overall. Prior to his time in Missoula, Day would make his professional debut with the Glacier Range Riders in 2022 pitching in 12 games after finishing his collegiate career at Lewis & Clark State University.

BIO: Fields returns to Missoula looking to complete a full season in professional baseball after spending time with the PaddleHeads a season ago. Fields would make 11 starts with the team in 2024 accumulating a 1-3 mark. Fields had very impressive numbers in his time at West Greenville University finishing with a career record of 40-10 with a 4.14 ERA in 63 starts
#4 Zac Lampton

Hometown: Tulsa, OK
BIO: Lampton joins the contingent of players in the PaddleHeads organization with ties to Florida International University as the south paw gets his first shot in professional baseball this season. Lampton appeared in 21 games with the Panthers last spring going 4-0 with a 3.31 ERA in 49 innings of work out of the bullpen. Lampton would appear in 67 games out of the pen in his FIU career from 2020-2024 striking out 149 batters in 110 innings of work.

BIO: The lanky right-hander will make his first professional appearance with the PaddleHeads this season after pitching in the Big-West Conference last spring. In his final season of college baseball, Largaespada would pitch in the Long Beach State University bullpen in 2024 appearing in 24 games. The hard-throwing righty would finish with a 5.53 ERA in 27 ⅔ innings of work while walking only 9 batters and striking out 32.
#11 Cale Mathison

Birthdate: 04/12/2001
Hometown: Borne, TX
BIO: Mathison looks to bolster the PaddleHeads bullpen in his first season in professional baseball in 2025 after making a stop in Major League Development League baseball last season with the Fredrick Keys. Mathison would pitch in 15 games there last summer after finishing his college career at The Masters University in Texas.
#31 Noah McBride
Height/Weight: 6'3/ 215
Birthdate: 06/01/1999
Hometown: Lakeside, CA
BIO: One of the better left-handed relievers in the Pioneer League in recent years returns to Missoula after spending a large portion of last season with the club. After being acquired in a trade from the American Association, McBride would have great success with the PaddleHeads in 24 games in 2024. The Concordia-Irvine product would finish with a 2.10 ERA 25 ⅔ innings of work striking out 35 in those innings. McBride also spent the 2022-2023 seasons in the Pioneer League pitching with the Boise Hawks. In total, McBride has made 103 appearances out of the bullpen in Pioneer League action.
#28 Nick Parker

Birthdate: 10/17/1999
Hometown: York, PA
BIO: After making 14 starts with the PaddleHeads in his rookie season in 2024, Parker returns to the PaddleHeads for another season with the club. The Virginia product will look to establish himself as one of the elite starters in the league after seeing his season cut short a season ago due to injury. Parker would finish with a mark of 6-3 in his outings finishing with 91 strikeouts which ranked 2nd on the team. Parker would also appear at Coastal Carolina in his collegiate career before finishing with the Cavaliers in 2024.
#38 Michael Peterson

Birthdate: 07/21/1998
Hometown: Pullman, WA
BIO: Peterson would have a breakout season in 2024 with the Boise Hawks after spending portions of time with the club in 2022 and 2023. Peterson would be acknowledged as the Pioneer League Pitcher of the Year for his efforts last season compiling a 10-8 record in 19 starts. The Western Oregon product would show great control walking only 36 batters in 117 innings of work while finishing with a 4.36 ERA. Peterson would start in 21 games with the Wolves prior to his time in professional baseball from 2020-2022.
#40 Arman Sabouri

Birthdate: 6/28/1998
Hometown: Santa Clara, CA
BIO: The former California Golden Bear returns to the PaddleHeads bullpen looking to have another solid season in Missoula. The southpaw made 28 trips to the mound for Missoula last season finishing with a 2-0 record and 5.50 ERA. Sabouri also made a brief appearance with Missoula in 2023 appearing in 3 games after battling back from injury issues. Sabouri made his debut in professional baseball in 2019 in the Milwaukee Brewers system after his time in Berkeley at Cal.
#41 Mathew Sox

Birthdate: 07/14/1999
Hometown: La Canada, CA
BIO: Sox returns for his 2nd season in the Pioneer League after making his professional debut with the Boise Hawks in 2024. The right-hander spent the bulk of his time last season as a starter making 12 appearances (10 starts). Sox would finish his collegiate career in 2022 pitching with the University of Utah. The Southern California native also spent time at Whitman College in Walla Walla starting in 17 games there in 2019-2020.
#26 Mark Timmins

Birthdate: 05/12/1998
Hometown: Omaha, NE
BIO: The Missoula crowd favorite is back for his 4th season in the Garden City looking to contribute in whatever way is needed. Timmins has spent time on the mound as a starter, and reliever in his time with the PaddleHeads over his 76 appearances. The Nebraska-Omaha product has made 20 starts over the course of his career dating back to 2022. Timmins also spent time in the Los Angeles Angels organization in 2023 before returning to Missoula.
#48 Ryan Wentz
Height/Weight: 6'4/200
Birthdate: 03/18/2002
Hometown: West Covina, CA
BIO: Wentz would just get a taste of professional baseball a season ago in the Pioneer League making his debut with the Boise Hawks in their starting rotation. Wentz would finish with a 2-1 record in those outings with a 4.00 ERA in 18 innings of work. Wentz would punch out 18 in those frames while walking only 5. The Southern California native would pitch at California State-Northridge prior to his time with the Hawks from 2021-2024. In his first season, Wentz would cross paths with former PaddleHead, and Pioneer League MVP Jayson Newman.

#13 McGuire Holbrook

Birthdate: 10/04/2001
Hometown: Winter Park, FL
BIO: The former Florida State Seminole looks to get his professional career started after completing his college career in 2024. Holbrook would go on to play in Major League Development League action last summer appearing in 47 games with the Williamsport Crosscutters. Prior to his time in Tallahassee, Holbrook would spend 2 seasons playing in the Big 12 with West Virginia in 2021-2022 appearing in 74 games.
#10 Nich Klemp

Birthdate: 06/10/2000
Hometown: Everett, WA
BIO: The Portland State product would be one one of the most well rounded catchers in the Pioneer League last season in his first year as a professional with the Boise Hawks. Klemp would finish with a .294 batting average as the everyday catcher playing in 70 games with the team. For his efforts, the Washington native would be selected as a Pioneer League All-Star. Klemp appeared in 98 games in his career with the Pilots enjoying his best season in 2023 when he finished with a .391 batting average in 51 games played.
#18 Carlos Perez

Hometown: Miami, FL
BIO: After an impressive start to his professional career last season with the PaddleHeads, Perez looks to put a full season together in his return to the roster in 2025. Perez joined the team late last season after the conclusion of his career at The University of Miami. Perez would impress in 25 games in the Garden City posting a .330 batting average in 101 plate appearances. Perez appeared in 133 games in his time with the Hurricanes from 2021-2024 before joining the PaddleHeads last season.
#27 Taylor Smith

Hometown: Georgetown, TX
BIO: After playing in 45 games in the Garden City last season, Smith returns to the PaddleHeads roster in 2025 for his 2nd season in the Pioneer League. Smith would bat .245 in his first season hitting 11 doubles, 6 home runs, while knocking in 39. Prior to his time with the PaddleHeads Smith would see college baseball action at Texas A&M, and The University of Texas-San Antonio.

#7 Roberto Pena
Height/Weight: 6'1/210
Birthdate: 06/11/1999
Hometown: Caracas, Venezuela
BIO: Pena would establish himself as one of the more feared hitters in the Pioneer League as a rookie with the PaddleHeads last season finishing with 28 home runs on the season. Pena would also tally 101 RBIs in 91 games while finishing with a .326 batting average. For his efforts, Pena was named the Pioneer League International Player of the Year as a native of the Country of Venezuela. Pena also appeared at Kansas State, and South Florida University in collegiate action before joining the PaddleHeads.
#8 Colin Gordon

Birthdate: 02/02/1996
Hometown: West Valley City, UT
BIO: Gordon is back with the PaddleHeads for his 2nd full season with the team after being a normal starter on the infield with the team last season. Gordon would appear in 71 games with the PaddleHeads finishing with a .315 batting average. He is one of the most well established players in the Pioneer League having appeared in 187 games dating back to 2022. Gordon holds a .300 average in 770 career at-bats in the league. The Louisiana-Monroe product has also appeared with Grand Junction, and Glacier prior to his time with the PaddleHeads.

BIO: Wilkerson was a fixture on the infield with one of college baseball's most storied programs in 2023-2024 at the University of North Carolina. In those 2 seasons, Wilkerson would start every game for the Tar Heels at shortstop making 124 consecutive starts. In his final season in 2024, he was the only player on the roster to start in every game at one position throughout the season. Wilkerson would bat .270 in his final senior season finishing with 13 doubles and 33 RBIs.

BIO: The veteran middle-infelder returns for another season with the PaddleHeads as the team's 'Franchise Player' in 2025. Dating back to the start of his rookie season in 2022, Willman has been one of the league's most productive players holding a .350 career batting average with the PaddleHeads in 139 games. Willman would hit .359 in 53 games a season ago finishing with 12 doubles, 10 home runs, and 55 RBIs. The product of the University of New Mexico would also spend time in the Minnesota Twins system in 2023 playing in 33 games with the Fort Meyers Mussels.

#55 Adam Fogel

Birthdate: 09/02/1998
Hometown: Palos Verdes, CA
BIO: The most feared hitter in the Pioneer League will look to once again be a nightmare for pitching staffs after a 2024 season for the ages with the PaddleHeads. Fogel would finish with a .388 batting average in 89 games played while also launching 35 home runs and driving in 115. The home run total would set a new Pioneer League record surpassing the previous mark of former PaddleHead Jayson Newman. Fogel would be acknowledged as the Pioneer League MVP as a result. Fogel became the 3rd PaddleHead to be named MVP in the process dating back to 2021 joining Newman (2022), and Zach Almond (2021).
#21 Mike Rosario

Hometown: Newberry, FL
BIO: Rosario is back with the PaddleHeads after a phenomenal rookie season in Missoula out of Florida International University. Rosario would finish right behind Adam Fogel in terms of batting average finishing at .387 in over 400 at-bats with the PaddleHeads. The former Panther would tally 72 RBIs and 12 doubles as the PaddleHeads everyday right fielder. Rosario was also an All-Star selection in 2024 in the Pioneer League.
#6 Alec Sanchez

Birthdate: 5'11/203
Hometown: Jacksonville, FL
BIO: Sanchez will look to once again be a part of the best outfield trio in the Pioneer League joining returnees Adam Fogel, and Mike Rosario with Missoula once again this season. Along with his solid play in centerfield, Sanchez would also perform well at the plate batting .330 in 76 games with the PaddleHeads last season. Sanchez would also finish with 20 home runs, and 92 RBIs in his rookie season out of Florida International. Sanchez would also play in Major League Development League baseball in 2023 appearing with the Fredrick Keys.

BIO: Stremecki looks to get his professional career started with the PaddleHeads after wrapping up his college career with the Wolfpack of the University of Nevada. In Stremecki's final season in 2023 he would start in each of their 52 games played overall. He led the team in both appearances overall, and starts that season playing in Reno. The native of Connecticut would finish with a .277 average 11 doubles, 9 home runs, and 33 RBIs.
